RRI on shortwave

Several programs from the Romanian section of RRI, as well as the radio show “Radiojurnale”

at 7:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. Romanian time,

05, 14, 16, and 20 UTC

as well as other programs from Radio România Actualități,

are broadcast daily for 10 hours on shortwave

and can be received in Western Europe (including by Romanians working abroad),

Central and Eastern Europe (including Romania's neighboring countries), Israel,

and the East Coast of North America.

RRI pe unde scurte
Mai multe emisiuni produse de Secţia Română RRI, dar şi Radiojurnalele de la 07.00, 16.00, 18.00 şi 22.00, ora României, ca şi alte emisiuni de la Radio România Actualităţi, sunt difuzate şi pe unde scurte, 10 ore pe zi, putând fi recepţionate în vestul Europei (inclusiv pentru românii plecaţi la muncă), în centrul şi estul Europei (inclusiv în ţările vecine României), în Israel şi pe Coasta de Est a Americii de Nord.

Further to Alan Roe's logging of RRI on 6145 kHz in December 2025 issue Communication. Clear ID 'Radio Romania Actualitati' at 05.00 UTC followed by half an hour of news, and then a talk and music show at 05.30 UTC. Definitely a relay of the Romanian domestic service.

Did'nt forget to show-in to 13 mband at 12.00 - 12.30 UT time slot today.
Checked Scandinavia Flensburg GER, Amberg-Bavaria GER,
Athens Greece and Doha Qatar Middle East – all remotedly on worldwide 
Perseus

SDR unit net:
21470even ROU  RRI Bucharest in En via Tiganesti bcast center.
12.00-12.57 UT scheduled, noted S=9+20dB at 12.09 UT.
21500even UK  BBC London via ENC Woofferton bcast center,
S=9+25dB signal,
and  also at same time and operation content profile on
21519.997 little odd frq kHz, also S=9+25dB signal strength,
both switch-on exact time at 11.58:10 UT and 11.58:12 UT.
Played well known former BBC-ENC bureau interval signal
‘Orange and and Lemon ...’ or similar theme .. til
11.59:35 UT, when switch-over suddenly to London studio
to start French sce to all-Africa. Both S=9+25dB signal strength.
21500 kHz unit up to 18 kHz much wideband visible on Perseus software
