6125 at 0435 via SDR in Michigan. 2) UK, Paul Prokop?, NW England. 6
reports since Sept, with details from each read out. Considerable ACI
from plus side, and then UTwente starts dropping out. I hasten to
bring up another at random, Wessex UK. But I miss even more details
than usual. 3) Mr Zhan?, using Netherlands SDR. 4) Kama? City, Japan,
likes Turkish music, listened at 3 am local time to 9660. 5) Aman?,
India, listener for 4 decades, has listeners club. 6) Mr Baine?,
India, VOT glad still to provide hard-copy QSLs. Turkish TV programs
popular in India, family values; SWL club. Now it`s 1812: 7) Mohammed
Haidar? Hassim?, Malaysia. 8) Jayanta Chakraborty, New Delhi, VG
signal on 6125 - he keeps reporting the NAm frequency at 0400, not the
S Asian one: is it really better? 8) finally, Mohammed --, India,
listener since 1985, in 344-member SW club on FB, wrote in ``Roman
Urdu`` but this is still in English. 1818 concludes, 1819 theme and

UNIDENTIFIED. 383 MCW kHz, Nov 30 at 0713, JBA ND beacon seems MR. Not
in RNA list, but in case it were really on 385, there is EMR, 400
watts, `Emory`, Augusta GA. There are two in France including MR in
3-letter calls, surely not (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Nov 16 reply to this was just found Nov 30, as like so
many ABDX posts, it was in spam folder: Re: "UNIDENTIFIED. 810.58, Nov
15 at 0738 UT, JBA carrier hetting 810.0 WHB. Often heard, on slightly
varying frequencies. Anyone else? No het from above 660 audible now
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)"

``It's all over my recordings from the Nevada-Utah border again (Oct
23-28). This time it was audible up to 1300 UT, which really limits
the possibilities if it is an actual broadcast station. I think I've
eliminated all possible US stations except KXOI. I just need to
double-check that I have a recording that shows KSWV is on frequency.
I also think I've eliminated all the reasonable possibilities in
Mexico, discounting XEFW (sporadic operation at very low power) and
XEHT (unlicensed for years and believed off now, remaining active only
on FM). At this point I strongly suspect it is either KXOI or
something other than a licensed broadcaster. HTH, Tim Hall``

Per NRC AM Log, KXOI is: Crane TX, U4 1000/500, ``La Nueva Radio
Alabanza``- Crane is just south of Odessa. Another reply from Tim Nov
30:

``Hi Glenn, In the meantime, I've found a Border Inn recording with
KSWV operating on frequency, which seems to leave KXOI as the only
unaccounted-for station likely to come in at that late hour. For what
it's worth, KXOI was a nightly catch (even a bit of a pest) at the
Border Inn before they went on and off the air for a few years. I have
not logged them since 2019. They returned to the air in September
2021. I need to check my 2021 and 2023 DXpedition recordings to see if
the signal was logged then (there was no 2022 DXpedition due to my
wife's health). I know the mystery signal was logged on both my 2024
and 2025 DXpeditions, and I think the only audio I noted was some
possible light Spanish language music. KXOI certainly seems plausible.

marine weather, times Atlantic, S9 direct. DXinfocentre.com shows the
last station to start in rotation was VCP4, Placentia, Newfoundland,
at 0048, 3 kW. The next would be VCM, St Anthony (Labrador) at 0107
with 600 watts.

2749 USB, Nov 30 at 0059, slightly weaker but still S9 peaks in
French: that would be VCO, Sydney NS, from 0040 with 550 watts, to be
followed by 0140 by VAR-9 Yarmouth (Halifax), 1200 watts (Glenn

** CHINA. 17645-17650-17655 & 17765-17770-17775, Nov 30 at 0109, DRM
noises at S9+10/20 direct. EiBi shows CNR1 Digital, at 01-06 on 17650
from site k=Kunming; and 01-09 on 17770 from site d=Dongfang, Hainan.
There are plenty of JBA AM carriers on band with Doppler flutter, but
nothing on higher bands (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11760, Nov 30 at 0115, S9/+15 of deadair; no sigs on 13 or 15
MHz; and 6000, Nov 30 at 0125, S9+20/30 of deadair, from RHC, where
something`s always wrong (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** FRANCE. 21660, Nov 29 at 1510 tune-in, MiniTransAt with music S5/S7
direct, so one or two sailors must still be asea on way to Guadeloupe
and in need of windfo at 1500 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6927 AM, an even weaker JBA signal than 6933.5,
maybe another pirate on a Friday night, 0125 UT Sat Nov 29. Nothing
lately in HFU tho Liquid Radio was on 6925 an hour earlier. Hardly
ever do I hear a pirate well enough to enjoy the music, much less try
to ID it, so I`m glad to leave that to others. {correcting and

** NORTH AMERICA. 6965 USB, Nov 30 at 0123, S9+10/20 direct of
Bluegrass; 0139 & 0146 brief `Wolverine Radio` IDs. Only pirate
audible on band and this one *is* strong enough to enjoy the music,
which I don`t recognize and is not identified; off around 0155*. Must
have a considerable transmitter. Is it really in Michigan as implied?

** SWITZERLAND [non]. 3955, Sat Nov 29 at 2200+, a monthly C.M.
Obrecht music hour via Channel 292, VG S9/+15 into UTwente, nice
classical/seasonal music rather than electronic stuff. Immediately
followed by Pop Shop Radio at 2300 starting with 4-note O Ca-na-da
sounder (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TIBET. 4920, Nov 30 at 0057, JBA carrier direct. Both EiBi & Aoki
show nothing but Xizang RTV, Lhasa, for almost 21 hpd except the
couple hours in English at 07 & 16. I was also getting a JBAC on 5060
no doubt from Xinjiang. Oh oh, 4920 could be 3 x 1640 my local KZLS -
but I don`t get even a 2x harmonic from it on 3280 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960, Sat Nov 29 at 2302, no signal from VOT into UTwente;
algo JBA on 9610.000, surely something else achieving such exactitude.

S9+30. Any others? I hear JBA talk on 7730, but finally decide it`s
not me.

Germany, 6160.001+, S9/+10 into UTwente with usual ACI from stronger
China 6165 S9+15/20; but in the clear on 3975.002+, S9/+10.

WTWW transmitter can get back on air already, and will try to get WOR
2323 on air not tonight, but UT Monday at 0400. At 0130 check, 5085 is
VG direct with JBA parasitic spurs +/- 12.8 kHz. Next:

** U S A. 5850, UT Sunday Nov 30 at 0300 I`m monitoring this WRMI
which per FB and website, started a new show last week at 0300-0530 UT
Sundays, `Dead Air Radio Crypt` - and there it is after RNEI and RRR
CW and SSTV being sent before 0300. But these hours are not accounted
for on the skedgrid beyond System E mostly WRN (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. 4840, UT Sunday Nov 30 at 0126, `Wavescan` for Nov 30 is
already starting early on WWCR instead of 0130 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 397, 402, 419 kHz, Nov 29 at 0656/0659 UT, JBA MCW
carriers where I don`t normally detect any ND beacons. RNA list shows
possibilities, in order of proximity, in each case only 3 in all of
North America:

397: JE JEfferson City MO, SB San Bernardino CA, OW nOrWood MA.
402: CV Carlsbad NM, L4 Nipawin SK, MQ MiQuelon
419: GB Great Bend KS, RYS Detroit MI, TX Lawrenceville GA

All of these have been reported this year, mostly this month (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VANUATU. 7260, Nov 29, since I am unfortunately awake at 0758, I
hasten to tune to R. Vanuatu, with BFO just in time to hear it cut
off. In the few sex it takes me to retune to 5040, a similar JBA
signal is there, tho I can`t say for sure that it just came on. This
matches Ron Howard`s observation (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. TA JBA MW carrier search, Nov 30 at 0100 UT: 711 which
could be Cuba instead of Western Sahara, and JJBBA on 855, still Spain
at reduced power? and 1098, UKOGBANI? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
